Let’s talk about my story.
My family is filled with scientists and artists of all different types of backgrounds.
In addition to my science-based career, I decided to go into photography as well. I founded my business in 2011 and started off with the name Liafly Photography.
When I was younger, I wanted to try to get some photos of the world around me with a compact little fujifilm digital camera. Later that year, in 2011, my mother surprised me with a Canon EOS Rebel T3, my very first DSLR camera body. I was ecstatic to finally be able to fully control my settings. I took things to the next level by taking a photography class in high school, joining a photography club, and taking a couple more photography classes in community college. I mastered traditional dark room film processing as well as F-stop/shutter speed/ISO settings in the digital world.
Heading into mid 2014, I replaced my T3 with a Canon EOS 60D, which was considered quite a major upgrade at the time. I got a few new lenses just in time for my first major gig with BeachGlow: Concerts for Charity. From there I got more into different types of photography, and often took my gear with me across the country. Through the rest of the 2010’s, I continued to learn and grow as an individual.
Then covid came around.
I took a major hit from the pandemic and no longer had an interest in photography. I even shut down my business for a bit. However, in late 2023, I became inspired to bring it back with a fresh new look, name, and as an LLC: Tiffany Marie Photography. I upgraded my 9-year-old gear to a Canon R6 Mark II with new lenses and lighting.
Since then, I’ve been quite active in the fitness and powerlifting spectrum of photography, but I am always eager to expand my portfolio into more portraiture or events.
